AN INVITATION

The 29th North East India Geographical Society (NEIGS) Biennial Conference cum XIth International Geographical Union (IGU) Commission Seminar is going to be organized at B. Borooah College, Guwahati. It will be hosted by the Department of Geography, B. Borooah College, Guwahati on February 8-10, 2018. The major IGU commissions collaborating in the upcoming event are Commission on Biogeography and Biodiversity, Commission on Geo-Heritage, Commission on Land Use/Land Cover Change, Commission on Geography of Governance, Commission on Local and Regional Development, Commonwealth Geographical Bureau(CGB) and Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT). The focal theme of the seminar is Environment and Sustainable Livelihood. All members of geography fraternity including NEIGS and IGU members and researchers from allied disciplines are cordially invited to present their research papers and participate in the discussions and proceedings of the 3-day long event.
